Inspire, keep breathing

My word for 2017 is Inspire.

I want to inspire women to take a step towards life – to love, to joy, to creativity through my work.

Inspire is to breathe in, to take in all the good the world has to offer.  To keep breathing, taking breaths deep and slow and long.

To concentrate on what I can do and keep moving forward.

To be breathing is to be living.  I’m grateful, thanking my body for healing and for allowing me to live to keep creating and inspiring.

To inspire, to keep looking and making time for inspiration.

Each breath fills me with energy and hope and power to keep on going, to do what I am called to do. Each breath reminds me my life is unfolding as it is meant to be.

The following poem is from my book One Loop at a Time, a story of rug hooking, healing and creativity.  The mat on this post is one of my healing mats from the book.  It is called Joy Releasing.  It is about joy and inspiration and finding my voice as an artist and a healer.

Inspire

To radiate, to breathe in, to cause others to take a breath

Breathing in new energy and possibility

How does one person inspire another?

Do they radiate an energy that is freely given to others?

Many people say I inspire them.  It often happens when I am feeling most inspired.

What is the quality of inspiration?

Feeling energy, alive, creativity, open to new possibilities
