Create a bit of quiet

In my last blog post, I wrote about how to get started in discovering your next steps. The first step was figuring out what makes your heart sing. Listening to your heart takes practice and it requires some down time. Even if your life feels too busy to take some quiet time, try these suggestions for how to find this time.

  1. When driving, try turning off the radio and your phone. Instead, enjoy looking around and watching as you drive.
  2. Walk without headphones or ear buds. Listen to the sounds around you. Feel your feet on the ground as you step.
  3. Avoid multi-tasking. Try to do one thing at a time. You’ll be more efficient, less stressed and may find some quiet moments between tasks.

How can I help?

I hope these suggestions help you begin to find the quiet time and heart connection you need.

My Creativity One to One sessions are designed to help you to start getting unblocked and moving towards feeling ‘in the flow’ again. My approach is gentle and non-judgemental. Through writing, sketching and conversation I help you to get out of your head and connect with your heart and self. I also offer free 15 minute, no strings attached Zoom conversations so we can get to know each other, discuss what you need and how we might work together.
